My New Place

I'm moving again! Well, I'm not actually moving, but I switched stables again. There were some..Problems with the old one. So now I'm at my instructor's friend's stable temporarily. The new place is really cool though! They have TONS of acres of trails. The trails have so much stuff on them..They were made to teach your horse to listen to you instead of bolting. There were things that were "scary" to horses like bubble wrap, pop cans strung on bushes that caught the light, matresses, and tarps that you had to walk past/through. I went on the trails with my instructor, and I rode Val:) I was riding her Western. There was a little stream, and I guess she didn't like the water..She was walking all calm and then she jumped! She just jumped right over the water! :o It was a little scary for me because I'd never jumped before and I was riding Western and couldn't 2-point (Saddle horn in the stomach..Ouch!) So then we went on the rest of the trail. My instructor, a while ago,  was on the same trail a while ago and her horse spooked and jumped a branch. She was surprised, and flew up and came back down hard on the saddle horn. So the other day she was on the same trail...Riding the same horse...In the same saddle...So she got kinda freaked out and we turned around and went the othr way through a tarp instead :P

Then, after the trail ride, I got to run:) We went down to the bottom of a hill, and ran up it full speed. It was the BEST! I'm so excited for my next lesson..<3
